2nd trip here with my family. Love coming here and disconnecting. The staff is very helpful and were always available if we needed help or to borrow gear. We did the hay ride, roping lessons, and kayaking in the lake. We have small kids and they had a blast. There’s fun the adults as well.
So incredibly serene and peaceful! The entire staff we communicated with were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. I will say what they charge for the horseback riding and escape room were a little on the pricey side. Anywhere else we've been trail riding was $50-55/person. One concern was the dirty water or no water seen in some of the troughs where the horses were. We would've loved to have seen more animals in the petting zoo also. All in all though it was a very relaxing experience and we will be back.
My Wife and I just had our honeymoon here. The place was amazing, and the staff was very friendly and Slim made the trip for us. All the way from booking to special things for my wife. She went above and beyond we are looking forward to many trips back.
We had a group of 12 stayed here this past weekend in the Farmhouse for a 40th birthday weekend getaway. It was phenomenal. Everything was perfect. The house was incredibly clean, well stocked, beds were very comfortable. There were only 11 forks so we had to do some fork sharing, but that wasn’t a big deal. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Absolutely love that the kayaks and paddle boards were no added cost. Genuinely cannot wait to go back and stay a little longer. We didn’t have enough time to do all that we wanted. This place is a hidden gem.
Just finished our 3rd trip to Deer Lake Cabins. We’ve stayed at the Allen House and the Buffalo Bunkhouse. Both were great cabins. We really enjoyed the quiet peaceful great outdoors. Caught some fish, went paddle boarding, rented a Jon boat, did the escape room, hiked… it was great. Our family hopes to make this our annual family spot. The staff is super friendly and they aim to make your trip a good one.
We had an awesome time at Deer Lake Cabins. We stayed at the Sunshine Cottage, and it was absolutely perfect right on the water and so peaceful. We got to do a ton of activities during our stay, and renting the UTV was the best decision ever! We rode through a bunch of trails on the property and had such a fun adventure. The only small con was that the Wi-Fi was very spotty, but honestly, that didn’t even matter because there’s so much to do here. Between the scenery, the trails, and the lake, we were never bored. The front office also has everything you could possibly need, which made our stay super convenient. Huge shoutout to Mrs. Janette she’s such a beautiful soul and her customer service went above and beyond. She truly made our experience even better. Can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely loved our stay! The kids had so much fun fishing, kayaking, riding around in the mule, riding horses. It was the best! The people who work there make you feel like family. We were treated so well. Will be back 100%!!!!!
We just got back from spending 3 nights and 4 days at Deer Lake Cabins Ranch Resort and it was perfect as always! The staff is awesome, and super friendly! This was our 3rd visit of many more to come, and that speaks volumes! The cabins are very nice and clean. There is so much you can do that you really need to spend several days there to really enjoy everything they have to offer. It is a perfect place to take family and friends for a peaceful get-away. It's a really lovely and cozy place to go for a good quality of rest and recharge your energy. I stayed there for 3 nights and was really magic; you only need to bring enough groceries and drinking water and that's it, the cabin has everything you need to cook all your meals and have it outside with the sounds of fauna and flora around there, beautiful Beautiful trails for a nice walk with my dog, fishing in the big lake, or taking a bike for a nice ride. The ladies in the office were always friendly and helpful Of course that I'll return soon
This place was amazing. A lot of free amenities. Fish were biting. My kids had a great time. Slim was very helpful and super nice.
